Wow that is one harsh sentence even with 8 being killed at the stadium and a further 16 being killed in violent clashes because of it. Mind you it would make hooligans over here think twice!

I've not been at school since 2004 but 16+8 doesn't equal the 74 which were killed, according to the link.

I think it's a great idea, tbh, most ott violent crimes should be given the death penalty. It would eventually mean the violent in society are culled or they learn, very quickly.
 
I saw a clip of the sentence being declared by the judge, with the families of the victims cheering as it was announced. It was like a cross between Pantomine and Jerry Springer.
