Brazil or Suarez to win. They may have only scaped in via play off but look where from. Spain? Too old. Chile? They won't have enough players left available to play if they reach the final. England? As everyone has said. No chance. That said I've bought a new England shirt to watch them in. No not the Nike one at £30 a game, LOL, a Primark special. Nice Lion picture with the cross lightly over the top £6 !

If they can overcome the heat and humidity I fancy Germany but otherwise it's hard to see past Brazil.

Outside bet Uruguay and most overrated team who I don't think will do anywhere as well as a lot of people think are Belgium, I just don't get all the fuss about them having watched them twice against Scotland and in other games in their qualifying group

Argentina to beat Germany in the final

Spain and Brazil will be the other semi finalists

England to qualify from the group

Final finishes 3-1 to Brazil but when it comes to the fan vote, other team playing in dresses and with beards and lipstick win and take the trophy home.

Brazil to win on home soil, the Europeans will find it just too hot and humid

If we are all relying on the 'big man' again to be our saviour then we are in trouble. Never done on the big stage with England and not exactly had a great season at United. I do hope some of the younger players get a chance to shine though especially Shaw, Barkley and Sterling.

Brazil will win it. Best European team will be Belgium.

Bizarrely enough I think England could have as good a chance as they have had in many a year. The sentiment in the media and a lot of sane fans is now one of mostly acceptance that we are not that good so the pressure will be off them and Roy. No one would be that surprised if we don't get out the group, where as in previous tournaments this would have been a national disaster.

This may let Roy 'free' the mostly young players a bit more to play their natural game, instead of sticking to the outdated formations and tactics he normally uses. Which may mean they play with a bit more freedom and expression, and consequently do better.

On the other hand he may revert to type, play 4-4-2, we get knackered after 45 minutes of chasing the ball as we can't keep possession, Stevie G tries his Hollywood passes every 5 minutes which never come off and then the most favoured tactic reverts to 'hoof it up front in the vague direction of the centre forwards' when ever possible. Which funnily enough comes unstuck very quickly as soon as we play a technically superior team, i.e. most of them nowadays.

Belgium appear to have a lot of newspaper/tv fans on here.

They are not a great side and will not go anywhere.

Belguim have certainly got a lot of talent in their squad so naturally they're going to be bigged up.

Whether they can do it as a squad remains to be seen.

They have also lost 3 games in 2 years and those three were friendlies

They won their WC group without losing a game I think being a good 9 points clear of second place

Their squad is packed full of talent - quality right through the squad.

Their potential is huge.

I watched them live and was less than impressed against a rank Scotland team.

They have played poor opposition in the last 3 years and have not exactly beaten stellar teams.

Agree some decent talent but I just don't see them as even potential 1/4 finalists.

Time will tell.

Didn't they say the same of the Golden Generation England squad a few years ago? ;)
