Do they come in different sizes?

At my local driving range, it feels like when I'm teeing up my driver, I'm also balancing on the back edge of the mat.

Others, I have plenty of room.

Do they come in standard sizes, or do smaller (cheaper??) driving ranges cut the sizes smaller to make more bays out of less material?

And different qualities too I guess? I'm thinking of moving to a better range, the holes and rips in these mats are a joke. But the real problem is (and this is totally mental) I just can't hit my driver right when I feel like I'm in a small box with no swing space or mat to stand on!

They are expensive too!! specialy the rubber footing they sit on.

My local range has the good old fashioned bog standard square mats, fairly recently replaced. I find I spend more time working on my game thoroughly when there. Yet when I've decided to venture out further to what some would class as better ranges with the modern automatic ball loading mats, I find that I go into just whack away and fly through a bucket with no real purpose mode!

Not sure why that is or the real reason for sharing it, but I find the more basic but looked after places much better for practice than the moderm hyped up places

+1.

I don't do the whole electric tee, dozens of nets, flashing lights and dolly birds ranges.

Where I go, it's me (usually only me), 100s of cheap balls and a few sheep munching at the end of the fence. Baaa....

i agree completely hate the autos
