Double click re-directing constantly

Hi all you IT experts out there. I'm flipping sick of doubleclick redirecting me to junk every time I use the search option with Firefox. I'm not a geek so does anyone know how to get rid of this programe in lay mans terms please?

I've used Firefox for a few years and never had any problems at all.

On the right hand side of the Firefox Help page is a 'Ask the Community Support Forum', they will sort you out.
