Does it matter which one you use and should they be the same setting on the router and desktop ?
Ta.

For a home network typically the Router serves as the DNS server for all your devices.

Not sure if there is any benefit in changing the DNS server on your router I’m pretty sure my IP locks this down.

They are set to Google dns . Can't remember if I did this or not.
Been reading about cloud fire warp but can't work out if it worth trying.

Depends on your application and overall bandwidth. I am assuming normal apps should not see a difference between Google and Cloudflare .. maybe for MMOG gaming scenarios.
either way you could switch and see... if you like it then stay else back to Google DNS
