Danny Willett

totally different ..faldo /norman ...faldo played with norman and he got in his head . speith just hit poor shots and wasn`t thinking about willett ..he was probably thinking more of how he was letting it slip out of his hands .

I agree it was different in that respect, but many say Faldo got lucky because Norman fell apart. Faldo is rarely credited with the fact he played a great round of 67, the best of the day with only 3 others breaking 70.

why wasn't it like Faldo and Norman?

Faldo shot a best of day 67, same score as Willett. Speith dropped 6 shots in 3 holes in the middle of his round pretty much as Norman did. Only difference was Norman's final round total was 78 and not Speith's 73

Well for a start, as you've pointed out. Spieth shot 5 better. But the main thing for me is that spieth had one horror hole towards the end. Prior to that he was still comfortable. Norman just had a real bad round.

I thought Speith lost it on 10 & 11 ??
The thing that impressed me with him was he got his game back after a couple of bad holes and kept on pushing. And Danny was good enough to play 16,17 & 18 really well and keep him shut out.
