Membership fee due at my English club. Cost per hole last year works out at £0.71. Cost per stroke, excluding a few texas scrambles, was £0.16. Should have been less but we were away for more than 15 weeks.

I’ve never thought of it like that. I pay£650 for club membership where I play at least 4 times a week through summer. Then probably another £650 on away green fees, opens and amateur competitions.

Membership in the South East will easily be double your membership cost and, in Kent, usually on a clay based soil so very wet in winter.

Since April last year each hole I've played at Ellesborough has cost me around 60p...

I measured per round at my place a few years ago and I was down to £7 a round. It’s probably gone up around £170 since but I also play once extra a week during bst
