Heard earlier on the radio a morning prime time presenter state that studies show that young children don't pass on the virus - so all the fuss being made by one or more of the teaching unions and their not supporting the current plan is apparently all just typical unions - being obstructive and teachers not doing their bit to get the economy moving again. Look at the sacrifices and risk, says he, that the medical and care professions are taking - and the teachers can't do their bit. I kid you not.My wife is a teacher, and if this happens she won't be returning any time soon, as she would just take retirement a year or so before she had planned to do so at 60 at the earliest. She has parents who are in their mid 80's she hasn't seen for months, and so wants to give herself the best chance of seeing them as soon as possible. Mingling with 15 kids isn't something that would help that cause!
