Corey Pavins Putter

Is he not a legendary scrambler? If so, he must have excellent putting stats. I doubt he'd want to risk losing that touch.

his putter looks like one of those cheapo efforts you use at crazy golf

The voice of a youngster per chance ? ;)

Most golfers over the age of 45 will have used one of these at one time or other. They were the putter of choice before Karsten Ping came along and made it soo much easier with his 'heel and toe' nonsense. Aye Right !

Look where we are today, putters painted white with a big hole in them...whatever next ;)

I used one in march when I had to borrow some clubs for a society day (it was in newcastle and my clubs were at home in ballymena hi)
I putted really well, was thinking of stealing it from my mate lol

Correct DCB they were a must have and if I remember rightly John Letters produced a similar one called the golden goose. Basic as can be but they got the ball into the hole often enough.

I had an Acushnet Bullseye when I played years and years ago.

A few months after I started playing again I was looking at my old clubs in the shed and decided to take the putter with me on my next game.
I already looked on ebay and they were only going for £10-£15 so didn't even consider selling it.

Used it on the first green then put it in the bin by the second tee.

i played today with my dads acushnet bulls eye and did not miss 1 putt from inside 6 foot so guess what the redwood is having a holiday for a while

i bought one about 15 years ago from a Pro who used it on tour for a few years. It is a truly delightful club, but i am just SOOOOO appalling at alignment that i need something chunky with a big line on it.

However it sits in the pencil big with my old mizunos, and will be going on holiday with me to France again this summer, when i get to really enjoy my golf.

you do occasionaly see tour pros using equipment so ancient it belongs in a museum. went to the irish seniors open at carton house in june and one of the competitors was using a putter with a hickory shaft. cant remember the pro in question unfortunately
