So I have the slowest hottest laptop in the world
The c drive isnalmost full up
The e drive is getting there
All that is on this machine is a few Gb of music and a few Gb of photos
And hundreds and hundreds on non deletable backup files mostly in the winsys folder
This is the folder that numerous web pages talk about, use oodles of IT speak and still give no advice to the average Joe of what to do
I am sure the clever ones will tell me to go and spend another grand on a new computer with some geeky op system.
Is there anything I can do? If I backup the photos and music - if it ever wakes up again - if I then "format c:" or whatever the modern technique is, will I solve the prob just by reloading the operating system from the original disks , or does the winsys folder live there for eternity ?
