Finally the weather has picked up enough for me to venture out for a game today, my first this year.
Has anyone else not played yet? (barring the unfortunate injured)

Played on the course for the first time last Saturday. Lovely weather so it was a shirt sleeve afternoon. Never had that before in March, an ideal start to the season.

I'm out on course for first time Saturday been giving it plenty on the range but with one thing and another been off course this year, not expecting big things for couple of weeks.

Still raining here!!! still hitting the practice range but the course is still muddy, one of the greens is like a semolina pudding

So far, in 2012, I have played 22 qualifiers, 2 non-qualifiers (frozen greens), 2 Winter Alliance and 1 Daily Mail Foursomes.

Spent the last hour on the train to london - gaping out the window at the lovely weather. Good luck to anyone lucky enough to get to play today. Off to check the forecast for saturday!

Playing tomorrow for the first time since the last day of 2011, and have been down the range twice since then, so will only probably have my 'D' game. Should still be more than enough though for who I am playing against.........!!

I've played all winter, came 2nd in the pre-Xmas eclectic & 1st in the post-Xmas eclectic.
Hitting the ball well and just waiting for the greens to improve.

Coooo is that fighting talk or what!!!!!!!!

Got my first game on Saturday, weather is looking okay about 10 degrees is forcast so short sleeves is the order of the day.

Looking forward to it, new clubs, new bag, new balls, new swing (Been having lessons to tidy things up) which is working really well, the iPing app for my iPhone and been practicing like mad with my new putter to try and get a consistent putting stroke.

Going out with a positive attitude to beat my mate by at least 5 strokes.

Cheers
Dave
