They've been doing Red Nose Day for around 25 years now. Still the problems persist in Africa.
Call it harsh, but I don't see the point in raising milions for them. What good has it done?

Charity begins at home. Plenty of worthy causes at home to cater for.
What about the childrens hospitals that rely on charitable donations? More worthy in my opinion.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
Furthermore, we send aid to Somalia, what do they do?
Hijack boats and kidnap innocent people.
Corrupt governments prevent most of the aid getting to the ones that need it.
I'll stop there cos I'm likely to get censored.

It's a difficult one, sending huge amounts of aid will never cure the problems in Africa. It makes the west feel better but ultimatley fails.It always has and always will but what is the alternative?

Golly I'm not alone then. Almost 100% dissent. I switched off as soon as Cr@pingtyrsome came on. I will not give one single penny to this cause whilst the African countrys government officials swan about in huge limos and shiney suits. What exactly do they do with all the f'in millions of ££££'s we give 'em?
