Come Dine With GM

I love a good steak.

I would only change the above by making the potatoes in a dauphinoise style and roast the tomatoes (vine tomatos, drizzled in balsamic vinegar, olive oil and just a touch of honey). Make the potatoes sloppy and saucy enough so you don't need a sauce for your steak (which is a cardinal sin).

just add tons of tomato sauce on every cut before eating, I'm salivating at the thought....

thats one thing the yanks do particularly well- steak houses

Carrot and coriander fritters with Halloumi and zingy lemon dressing

Pork fillet in calvados and apple cider, Fondant potatoes, Honey roast parsnips and carrots

Spicy pear Tarte Tatin with chantilly cream

I love the fact there are so many forum golfers that love there food out there!! From beans of toast, bacon butties to prime steaks and Lobster! :) Its a weekly thing at the mo...

Love to cook and fart about in the kitchen normally with a glass of red in my hand al la Keith Floyd RIP ;(

Starter - Mikees special Putenesca simmered for 1 hour

Main - Slow roasted (6 hours) lamb shanks in red wine with garlic, rosemary, peppers, lentils and olives, served with sweet potato minted mash, sautéed leeks, suger snaps, purple brocoli and asparagus.

Desert - Vanilla and lemon cheese cake with hot balsamic strawberries

I have delivered on some good chilli and curry experiences so Im told. :)

I'm on my way round mike!!

Well i was a chef for 5 years before getting into IT.

I really don't know what i would do, fancy or stuff i love... On reflection i would do:

Goats cheese and caramelised onion tarts with balsamic dressed rocket salad

Fillet of beef wellington, red wine gravy, probably daupheious tattys and veg. (braised red cabbage, green beans, honey carrots)

prob do a trio of puds as i cant decide on just one! tarte tatin, raspberry and white choc cheesecake and a lemon posset.

I would then follow that with cheese and port.
