Club throwing...this cannot be tolerated!!

Um.... yourself!

I don't wear a glove although after yesterdays little hairum scarum I may look into trying a glove again!

Lucky there wasn't a pond there! :)

Glove is a good investment in the rain... you can swing full tilt without having to grip too hard (which I have found out the hard way can help damage your wrist)

a picture tells a thousand words. I thought the camera was only supposed to add about ten pounds!

I'm like a charging Hippo these days, and boy did I need every one of these pounds to keep me from being blown over yesterday!

Crawford,

What setting did you have the 910 on to get that shape and trajectory ?? Same weather in a fortnight and it'll be very interesting.

One of the funniest things I ever saw on a golf course was a similar incident in pouring rain, I won't go into detail but It started with a guy taking a tee shot and ended with him crawling under an adjacent hedge to go and retrieve his driver from a next door cow field.

Funny story and hope the club didn't get and dings in it and the paintwork is intact. I had a similar problem on the 9th the other weekend where it was all I could do to maintain contact with the club. The ball went way right (into a greenside bunker on 18) and once I'd hacked down the hole I called it a day and retired for a coffee

Hi guys first ever post in forum of any type long time reader of golf monthly tho.. mayb the new white driver be easy to find ??? ha ha i know this un intentional but a couple of months ago playing in a society outing i had a member of our group purposely throw a club on more than one occasion , i quietly mentioned that this was not fair on other players nor did it belong in the game of golf, i got a very rude answer.does a guy off society handicap of 22 not expect to play bad shots??, i know people do things wrong but their reaction to been told sums up the person, refused to play with this person again

Welcome to the forum bladeplayer. I am alwas amazed by the expectations of higher handicap players. We all want to strike the ball well but we dont expect the ball to dance on the green and stop next to the flag.

Thanks madandra have seen the posts etc in the magazine & everyone seems of the same opinion that is is full of good members with good fun & advice/ will figure out this posting thing in time ha ha yea i play club & society golf & realy enjoy both , society golf is a great day out / what i liked about the origional post here is the way the guys took what happened, with a laugh , fair play, heres looking forward to many more laughs & more on the forums , looking forward to it

Then God must have had a heavy night designing the Norweigan Fijords or something coz that looks like a playing field. :D :p :p
