• We'd like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Holidays and a very Merry Christmas from all at Golf Monthly. Thank you for sharing your 2025 with us!

City til I die.. Ah just ave.

Nope, Coventry come to town - Arsenal think we'll not sell that out, we'll offer them 9,000 tickets.

Guaranteed sell out to us, spurs and Everton and then suddenly it's a safety issue. Dont Coventry fans stand or something?

Come on the 'tics!

And looking at the problems that the reduced allocation from Liverpool and Everton brought it was a good job they weren't offered the full allocation of tickets!

Everton fans were lobbing beer bottles at the Arsenal fans on Saturday, one lady was smacked on the head with one, not very nice.

I totally agree, but from memory the same thing was done to Everton fans from the upper tier about 3 years ago.

2 wrongs dont make a right, and both events are very sad to see, but it shows that it isn't just the away fans that can partake in this.

If Arsenal go on and win it - could this be the first time a team has won the FA cup, without setting foot outside their own city?

My mrs is still in a moody from yesterday - can hardly get a word out of her :(

It's only a footie game

I think I'm still in her bad books from last may when I jumped and shouted hooray when Wigan finally scored in the cup final - not cos I wanted City to lose, it was just such an awful game that I was glad someone scored.

At this rate City will come out with less than Arsenal this year ! I said last night that I could see them coming 5th - oops :(

Well done Wigan

Annoying guy in the office today "Ooh Amanda, I haven't mentioned the FA Cup" - me "let's go chronological as you haven't mentioned the Capital One Cup either so that sounds just like gloating". He's a Peterbrough fan so no vested interest but just enjoyed my team losing - idiot!

Ah but the mighty Peterborough are off to wembley....

I've given up on footie for the season after the debacle at Cardiff. Poor show by City and have thought Demichaelis has been rubbish everytime I've seen him play.

Sheik mansoor went to Spain in his posh mercedes
brought us back a crap defender Martin Demichellis

ps the rag fans had there shirts on today and were trying to wind me up? I told them " you will hear something you have never said in all your years of domination, we were beaten by the better team" and quit frankly it was nice to actually talk about the game and not the referee so he must of had a good game whoever he was.

I might be wrong but I thought Spurs had done this already in the 80's or early 90's.

I'd suggest not, as back then the semis were at neutral venues like Villa Park & Old Trafford, so Spurs would probably have travelled outside London. Wembley was rarely used for semis prior to the new build opening in 2007, although it is possible.

Spurs semi's

81 at Hillsborough and then replay at Highbury.
82 at Villa
87 at Villa
91 at Wembley
93 Wembley
95 Elland Road
99 & 2001 Old Trafford
2010 & 12 Wembley
