Chromium salts causing birth defects: Is your glove safe?

I used to get some nasty “exzema” on my hands. Turns out it was from the chromium in leather gloves. Changed to non-chromium gloves and cleared up pretty quickly.
 
Now you know why the Germans are always jumping about (they call it dancing) - its the chrome lederhosen and why Merkel looks so grumpy.
 
When the club slips out of his hands it’s quite impressive. It goes further and straighter than his ball 😁
 
Getting a rash from a glove I could cope with. However Missis T now gets a rash from wearing gold. Especially her wedding ring. Had a quick play on google and mumsnet which mentions " salts" as one on the reasons for gold allergy. Also means that Tashyboy cannot buy Missis T anymore Gold. Wounded.
