I was treated to the usual assortment of golf pressies.

Book on how to lower your handicap looks like it was written in 1920's.
Hundreds of Tee's.
Stupid ball cleaner/pitch mark repairer/knife all in one that clips onto the bag.
Novelty socks.
1 doz Crappy Topflight XL balls.

On the plus side I also received from the wife.

Pair of Dryjoys.
Pro-Quip waterproofs.
So not all bad.

The bad was a bloody golf ball soap on rope!

Bearing in mind this is still early days of golf and the family also has to learn;

nodding golfer for car (grandaughter)
waterproof over-trousers (partner)
golf-instruction book (partners daughter)
desk-top build your own golf course (son, who may have also caught the golfing bug)
Southern Comfort and a decent red (elder son - now he knows whats really needed!)

Pretty good year for me so far as golfing prezzies are concerned:

3 month season ticket to the course I am looking to join from my wife (very useful indeed) as well as a dozen of my current favourite balls (again, superb)
Ashworth golf sweater from my brother (very good as well)
Golf balls from my brother in law (wrong type but thought was in the right place).

Overall pretty impressive present selection from my family

I got three arsenal ball markers, an arsenal pitch mark repairer, 3 prov1xs, a jumper, a rollneck, a sleeveless wooly, the ubiquitous club cleaning brush (half metal, half plastic bristles), a set of rubber tees (naff, but useful when the ground is frozen solid), a polo shirt, and lots of sweeties (can loosely be considered golf kit, as I will eat them on the course).
