Get the cobra's if you can get them in 4- pw and go try some gap wedges.

Cheers
Brendan

My opinions are that I wouldn't buy either, because I am not in the market for this style of irons, but of the two, the S9s are marginally less busy to look at.

A mate of mine has the Sumos, with rifle 5.0 shafts, and I can't hit them at all. Too light for me.

Not tried the S9s.

cheers sounds like you go for the more traditional look of irons, what do you use?

Not a fan of either but would probably opt for the cobra on feel if I was forced to make a choice. Personally I'd have gone Mizuno MX 200 or if you want something that will be forgiving and give a high flight the X22

Sam, just as Murph has said. You should go with the clubs that you are consistent with. If you've tried a range of different clubs, and are now torn between the two, I'd say definitely the S9's. I love mine, and when I come to replace them I'll use Cobra again.

How much are you paying for them, and what clubs are you getting 4-PW, 5-SW ??? Do you have any other wedges ?

The Cobra wedges aren't as lofted as some other brands, you may need to fill a gap.
