Hi. I’ve got a spare 3 wood shaft and would like to put it on my ping 3 wood. How easy is it to take the adaptor of the old shaft and add it to the new one?

Easy to put on, no so easy.to.get.off.
If the new shaft has no adaptor, is say just buy one.
If you need to pull one off, is advise you to get someone to do it.

get a new adaptor (ebay is you friend)

Make sure to buy the right size .335 or .350
With some adaptors parts are plastic (eg callaway ones) and the plastic part just melts if you try to use heat if you go ahead with removal and not worth the risk of ruining the shaft in the first place.
