Afternoon all

For the fifth year running I'll be doing the long day of golf this Friday. Every other year, I've chafed badly on my inner thighs (sorry for the graphic images I may be instilling upon you). One year I tried lubricating it (ahem) ! And last year tried powder but neither really helped much.

Has anyone got advice on clothing options that may help. Cycling shorts under my trousers perhaps?

The problem doesn't surface till around the 40th hole but then I end up in agony ha!!

Cycling shorts will definitely work. I used to get that sort of chafing when I spend long periods in the field while playing cricket and cycling shorts were a god send!

long legged boxers will help.

Also, when I did it last year I found that having a shower and a complete change of clothes after 2 rounds help immensely.

What about a change of clothes- maybe change after 36 holes to fresh unwsweaty clothes?

Cheers gents
Always have 4x tops, trousers, boxers and socks and have a shower at dinner time yet still have the problem

You can buy chaffing cream, used it during marathon training, works well. Also 2nd cycling shorts

Slap some vaseline on and you'll be sorted.

Cheers guys

Play naked from the waist down, and get a bit of air flowing?

The best advise ive read on here

Not sure how my PP's will react
