Carrybag umbrella holder: Using an umbrella when carrying ideas?

I carry and don't like putting umbrella back in bag where club has come from as the handle is wider and can scratch shafts. On floor it blows away sometimes-
any clever holders out there or techniques people use?

I normally don't take an umbrella when I carry my bag, but rather don the hood of my rain jacket and tough it out. Umbrellas are combersome and annoying.

Don't bother with umbrellas. God aweful invention designed to remove eyes and cause aggro.
