Tried a set of DI9s last week.Got on well with them. After a day of thinking about buying them went and placed an order for them. Just got to wait for them to turn up now.

Good stuff mate, I didn’t try them before I got my new irons as the Di7 lofts put me off Wilson irons for life. The Di9 are slightly better but they are still very ambitious. Where did you get them from and did you get custom fitted for them, are you going to?

At least you get them before me! All I can do is play with my wedges and woods, however, these are weakest part of my game so it has done me some good.

I have been to the range 4 times in 4 days with wedges and woods.

My 3 wood has never gone so well!

It's hard to get motivated to spend an hour on the range feezing your butt off when its nice and warm inside. Can't see me playing till the end of next week either - bummer!!!!

But then its so cold I'm not sure I'd either want to or benefit from being even more of a Michelin Man than I already am.

I can't beleive how nice it is here today, There is not 1 cloud in the sky, its blue as it gets. No wind although it is frosty, and.... I STILL HAVE NO STICKS. argh.

I will have to go the range today.

Off to the range tonight. Might just get the one ball, as I have been shanking so much recently that I can't seem to get it out of the bay. Makes for a very cheap range session, or a very long one if I get 90 balls.

Maybe tonight will be different. Got to change sometime.

Went to the range this afternoon and it wasn't too bad (base layer, polo jumper, wooly jumper and hat helped) but I didn't hit the ball very well. Found it hard to get a decent tempo and would hit a few good shots and then fire off two or three bad ones. Driving was particularly poor. Still off to play on Friday so we'll see what happens.

played the last medal of the year today. frosty, icy in places and some of the greens had as much resilience as concrete. lovely blue sky though.

as leftie said in another post, you never knew if the ball was going to stick, twist or bust. what with that and too many clothes, hard going.

hitting them long but once again couldn't buy a putt, still beat my partners and from comments from other groups we can be looking at a CSS in the nineties!
