If my "fag-packet" calculations are in the right ball park, the Sun has something like 7 million times more gravitational jnfluence than would Uranus

Well, as someone who has worked for 21 years for one of those mainstream media groups, let me just say that you'd be amazed at the amount of people who buy into that bollocks.
