How dare you... Black pudding is a delicacy.. Mu Missus (a svelte size 10) won't have a Full English without black pudding...

On a related note, why is it, when in Scotland, you buy a breakfast pack from the local Supermarket and it has Fruit pudding in it? I understand sausage, black pudding etc, but not fruit pudding... Whats that all about...

The scots are too tight to buy black pudding ,,,, scottish window cleaner up a ladder cleaning windows , 50p fell out of his pocket and hit him on his head , hence fruit pudding its lighter :rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Not true, the caravan park in Nairn did a crazy black pudding, I remember Screwbacks face on the Saturday morning having eaten his "loose" black pudding. It was a picture, a very sick looking hungover picture.

Then there is square sausage.... niice.

Square sausage is another I don't like lol. My Mrs loves it. Scottish neighbours always bring her the real deal back from their visits to family.

Perhaps I'm just weird. Can eat scrambled eggs and the yoke but not the white. Or hot stew sandwiches are great lol.

No idea, never understood fruit pudding either.

And haggis is delicious, just not that manky catering haggis that comes in a chubb and gets sliced into disks and fried for breakfast. If real haggis is made from hearts and lungs, Christ only knows what the cheap stuff is made from :mmm:

C'mon guys, the fruit pudding is there to help you with your 'five a day'. If you're doing the full fry up you need something healthy to balance out your intake... hence fruit pudding ;)


Might have to go to the local 'van' and get a roll & slice and a roll & black this morning :)
