Hello,
I'm new to golf (< 4 months playing), and also new to the area, looking for some friendly players to share a round or two with around Cambridge Lakes, the 9-hole public golf course in Cambridge (UK). I'm new to golf and not skillful enough to play on 'proper' courses yet (i can't hit a ball further than 200yds), but I'm slowly getting better and working up to it... It would be great to share a round with some players, it wouldn't be a 'match' since I'm no where near that good, but more of a practice round or something along those lines...
I played today and am thinking of playing again tomorrow (Sunday) if anyone wants to join me for 9 or 18 holes. Its pretty cheap for a round and actually the course is really nice for a par 3, plus you only need to bring 3 or 4 clubs so no lugging around a massive set of clubs!
