Tempted to purchase the Calloway v series 3 and 5 wood from clubhouse golf for £119.

Would appreciate any feedback on these clubs .

Thanks.

I have the V series driver and it is great.

The only thing I would advise you to be aware of is the shaft.

It's a good shaft, MRC Bassara E series, but it's very light at 52g and is designed to flight the ball up.

When I tried the driver I tried both options but the combo that have the best flight and distance was a 9° head with a a Fujikura Speeder 565 shaft.

The Bassara in the driver is very similar. At only 42g it's very light, too light for my liking.

If you hit a high ball you may need a different shaft to bring the flight down a little.

I used a trial 3 wood to a few weeks last year with the Bassara shaft in it and it was so easy to hit, so easy to get in the air - it just went too high for me.
A different shaft would probably have cured that
Overall it felt very light but it looks the business.
Non-adjustable in the fairway wood so getting the right lofts is essential.

They do a "Heavenwood"
20° loft with the shaft of a 4 wood - not hit one but I'm led to believe it goes a mile....up and along!

I had a Heavenwood but with the super lightweight Bassara shaft, it went into orbit and I felt it was tricky to control being so light but still with a 43in long shaft.
