Hi just looking to know if many on here have these clubs and what you think of them, are the good forgiveness and a good game improvement iron!!! All advice and comments welcome

I have the x tour forged and think they look rather dapper. The new range look pretty good aswell. Not sure anyone has posted about owning them so far though.

I have them and like them. To me they look very nice and lets face it, when you look them at address you don't see anything but metal not the decal in the cavity. I'm more confident with 6 down to PW. Struggle badly with 5 and 4i but this is purely technique as my Pro can melt them.

Thick top line which gives a bit of confidence. Cavity remains well out of sight up to 6i and only creeps in a little on the 5 and 4 when forward lean is applied. Not so much as to distract though. I notice them to be a lot more forgiving than my previous Cobra FP 2 irons. Also much nicer at address. Gave me better numbers than Razr x Tour, Cobra S3, Taylormade Burner 2.0 and the Mizuno JPX800 when I got fitted. I was getting better height and dispersion with them. I went to the shop with the intention of buying the Cobras or TM's. Never even gave Cally a second thought.

If you can get fitted then try these against the Tour version. The tour version is even nicer looking although a little harder to work with.

Quiet strong lofts hence my choice of including a 48* wedge along with a 54* and a 60* in my set up.

I would recommend buying duster gas for cleaning as the cavity is a bugger to get in and clean thoroughly.

I bought a full set of razr x in august 2011 as my first "proper" set of irons.uniflex shafts, fitted , £599.They took me from 28 to 18 in a year or so,no probs.
I decided last month i was having some i20's, went to local place with flightscope (same as when i bought callys), and it was obvious these werent for me,hit numerous clubs on flightscope inc. my razr x, tried all sorts ping , mizuno, tour edge,etc.etc. TM burner 2.0's were head and shoulders above everything ( and the cheapest).
so, my experience of razr x was good, i traded them in for £170 which wasnt so good.If your buying off golfbidder and theres a stone chip on pw then there mine!
hope that makes sense, had a few cans watching footy!

Allways been a titleist iron player in the past,18 months ago wanted a change,so went for the callaways.
I can honestly say it made no differance to my game really, only that the callaways go abit further, but thats down to the strong lofts.
The look of them are good and fill you with confidence, but then again its all down to personal prefrance, would i buy callaways again? probably not only because there are so many good bats out there at the minute, apart from nike !!!!:smirk:
