Tour Winner
I have just taken delivery of the new Callaway Hex Black Tour balls and having used them for the last few weeks I think it is time to give my opinion on the performance of them. I can only give the review from the perspective of an 11 handicap golfer but here goes. Firstly compered to other premium balls I find them as white as the Srixions which is nice as I find the Titleist's and Taylormade offerings to be darker in shade thus harder to pinpoint in the rough. They feel nice and responsive off the driver face not too hard and clicky but soft and complaint. They spin well and pull back off the wedges as good if not better than the market leaders. On the green they putt very well with a nice firm feeling off the putter face. Callaway wasn't my first port of call for a premium ball until I hit these. Now it is and regardless of how many they give away to the pro's I think they are a viable Pro V 1 alternative, if not slightly better.
