My mate has just got himself a Ping G10 only a couple of weeks after getting a Callaway Big Bertha! So i said i'd see if anyone on the forum is interested in taking it off his hands.

Spec is below:

Calloway Big Bertha (460cc)
Reg Shaft
13 degree loft
Used 3 times!

I know this is a peach of a club so if anyone wants to save themselves a few quid drop me a PM.

He wants around £100 for it.

Fair comment Homer. The £100 is what the rep at American Golf mentioned it would be worth if sold on privately. I do appreciate that the Big Bertha has been superseded by the Hyper-X but its still a great club. I have spoken to Tom and he suggested offering it for £90 or nearest offer.

If no joy it will be passed onto golfbidder.

I'd try ebay before golfbidder...yuck...I bet it could even go for £80-90 in the local rag.

f.w.i.w. my spare club (Callaway FT-3) were down to £129 to finish off the last of them. They are getting close to £100 on ebay.

Mate I agree with Realgolfer, stay away from Golfbidder.

Pick your moment on ebay and you get way more.

DOn't get me wrong it is a brilliant club. I use the Big Bertha 460cc with regular shaft and it is the best driver I have hit. OK I grant you since I bought it we have G10's etc but it is a damn fine club in the hands of a decent golfer (and not me).

Having never sold any gear privately I assume it is very much like flogging a car and 2nd hand values privately will always be higher than via a dealer or franchise.

Wasn't knocking his entreprenaurial spirit just being objective
