Will a bushnell v2 measure yardages on a dark(ish) driving range? Not sure what its like with low light ?

Hate to say this Sam lad...best you go and try!

I would imagine as long as the laser can pick up the object, it should be fine.

What I did on my local range out here was, when it was quiet and no-one around, walked out to the flags with my GPS and measured them, I also measured distances to palm trees on the edge of the range and made notes. That might be a simpler way if you are doing most of your hitting at dusk and dark o'clock.

? if the range is dark, how will you know where your shots are landing (with any degree of accuracy)??

So long as you can sight the target it should work fine. The laser does not need much light, and will fix on most static objects.

the flags and around the flags are clearly visible but didnt know if it would struggle with it at all.

I have tried it and the answer is, very variable. It is often difficult to read the display in really poor light even if the laser does give a yardage but I have done it at our local range

Thanks for the replies, i have just ordered the V2 in white which apparently makes a massive difference... haha
and want to look at the actual yardages at my range im going to use my local range to find my yardages for irons too !

Careful on that score pal. The range balls will be lower compression and won't go as far as your normal pills! I made that mistake and didn't work it out for a few weeks so I airmailed all my approaches! Get down to a practice range where you can hit your own balls and then work through the bag hitting 10 balls with each club and getting an average from there. It takes time but it really helped me. for instance I know my PW goes 155 yards on an easy swing with no wind assistance in summer. I also know what the rest of my clubs do in that sitiuation. I then factor in the waether and adjust accordingly.
