Bubba - 100% top bloke - video clip

A brilliant example how a sports person can make a huge difference to lots of people's lives.
Now, I know lots of sports people give up their time to help raise awareness for a charity that in turn raises money from the public, but when Mr/Mrs/Miss rich person coughs up $500,000 of his/her own hard earned thats just brilliant.
Just think what good could be done in the world if more of the rich people did this.

When I first heard of his adoption he went up a million percent in my books anyway, this just affirms it.

I'd like to think most of us with squillions coming in would help all they could but sadly not everyone thinks like that.
 
Certainly gives the lie to littlemisssunshine who, I seem to remember, came on here slagging him off.
You may be brash, you may be loud, you may even be a little bit crazy but, having watched that vid, I can only say Bubba you are a star. More power to you in all your endeavours on & off the course.
 
What a puzzle of a man.Without stories like that you'd think he was a redneck daftie, just like the guy who showed up in Paris last year.

Thankfully things like this shows what a good lad he is.

I'm a massive fan of Bubba. Any guy that hits a pink driver over 300 yards is alright by me. Plus, I bet on him at the Masters and won £180!

What a great guy :thup:.I dare say Bubba was misquoted in France by the press,wasnt the first time a golfer has suffered this and wont be the last :rolleyes:.
 
Nice one. I thought Bubba was just a bit of an idiot tbh before the Masters but that win, his reaction to it and the honesty he showed opened my eyes. A good guy...
 
First class! When I saw the video I initially thought "Oh here we go another pro golfer putting his name to charity but not contributing himself"
I couldn't have been more wrong. Yes it is easy for Ping to donate, they are a multi million dollar manufacturer worldwide with profits coming out of their ears but then I heard about the half million he put in out of his own money and thought WOW! this bloke is different from the "We give of our time typical celebrity"
I'm more of a moaner than optimist and tend to see the worst side of everything to my disgrace, I didn't really like Bubba but now I have totally changed my attitude towards him. Bubba you are a star and the top of my tree now.
 
On a more serious note, he his a Honest person to himself and others and paints his shafts pink just like his father that i,m sure
is looking at this with proud.

a real lesson.
