British players treated too well in the States?

So Poulter, Donald, GMac and Rory all missed the cut, Poulter and Luke by quite a bit... Rory blamed the cold and wet conditions and complained he had cold hands (I can understand what he means) but are the British players who are setting up home in the States being given too much sun and perfect golfing conditions to be able to compete when they come back??

Is this the future of golf over here in the UK?

I think McIlroy and G-Mac had the hardest of the conditions this afternoon but they played poorly. Surely they have played in these conditions and while they enjoy the warmth and sun in the states they've had days like this on the links courses of Northern Ireland to be prepared for today

Normally everyday is like that here! 😉
