Kirsty - well fit. Green keeper won't be happy with those heels on the green
What a great win - some stunning golf shots
I do believe the last round took nearly 6 hours.
Well done though MF kept his cool well under severe pressure.
The tee shot on 17 was pure class, to follow Zanotti's shot under that pressure and stick it inside him showed a lot of balls.

In terms of attendance figures is there anything to compare with? Weather has been pretty amazing considering it's October, so did they do better than other Euro Tour events? Surely if it's been a success then there will be a chance of other UK based tournaments.
The attendance will be bigger than any other event on the ET bar the PGA and Open
Any event in the UK will always being in the crowds - the issue is always cost , not many clubs want to pay over 100 grand to host it and then find prize funds ( over 3mil ) so it's always going to be a struggle to host further events. ET have their own issues as well because they want to broaden the game hence going to Africa and Asia etc.
Rich playboys and princes abroad don't mind throwing millions to have their own golf event
Sky pretty much helped host the event - without Sky then I very much doubt the event would have happened.
It also doesn't help when the top players won't come and play many events - the more top ranked players like Rory , Stenson and Rose would attract both ranking points and sponsership
I think those guys didnt play because they are fresh of the Fedex and are already locked up for the race to Dubai so dont need to play anymore events. Some of these guys out there were playing for their cards and the RTD.
Well McIlroy was sat in the stands watching N Ireland play football , Rose has been said already was playing golf round Lake Nona with his mates - Stenson was in Sweden with mates - if the top guys don't support comps on the ET then it will always struggle
The event has made a good comeback but after the next 2 years can it continue?
I believe this year they were very lucky with the weather and the event is a little to late in the year to guarantee good weather.
If one day was a washout it could have been a disaster.
3 million is a good prize fund but nowhere near enough to attract the big European players.
As has been said the crowds will always support these events but unless the TV and sponserships are making money it wont carry on beyond the 2 years.
