Britains got talent..FGS

When are folk going to realise that acts will only do well in this if Simon Cowell can make money from them! I'm fed up of seeing Mr cowell's eyes lighting up and going Kerching!! when he see's some unsuspecting pre teen with only half decent voice at the most come onto the stage. If he cannot sell a million albums off them or sell them for corporate events they aren't getting nowhere. We follow these victims week in week out and Mr Cowell laps it up. FFS Britain get a grip and realise Simon Cowell has us all by the short 'n' curlies.

voting on BGT costs 50p with 15p going to charity (Royal Variety Charity)
voting on the Voice costs 25p with 10p going to the BBC Perfoming Arts Fund

He'll keep making money out of it while there's wallies sat at home ready to ring the number and vote for their favourite. He can also count on those wallies to rush out and buy the album etc.

Rather smugly [proudly even] I can say hand on heart I haven't a clue about any of this...

Yes, I've heard of SuBo? & Adele but wouldn't know which of the reality shows they were 'discovered' on...

Music wise I still live in the 60's/70's its where it was at man :D:thup:...

Glad I was at the gym then.

That Jonathan and Charlotte duo are absolutely world class though. BGT has (a lot of) faults, but that kid would probably never be given a chance to showcase what he can do (probably down to his size - no matter how wrong that is) He's now going to have a career ahead of him using his incredible voice to entertain millions. His opera voice is absolutely mind blowing.
