It was a good test for Simpson.
Got knocked down twice,but didn’t really look hurt by either.
Be interesting to see who he fights next.

Nope no big surprise. Part of me wants to see Dubois upsetting the apple cart and beating Usyk (some would argue he already has done). I can’t see it, unless Usyk doesn’t prepare properly, which I also can’t see. The other part of me thinks that fight is immaterial. The Saudi’s want to put on mega fights. The belts are largely insignificant.

Awful. He look terrible after a 3 year layoff against Senchenko - and that was 13 years ago! He did have an exhibition against Barrera a few years back but this is a weird one - against a no mark.

If I was to bet I would say Usyk on points but it definitely has potential to be a great fight.
I haven’t looked is the undercard any good?

I’ll be watching. Weirdly ambivalent on the result. Can’t really warm to Dubois, but would be great to see a British undisputed champion. Usyk is a generational talent…. but for some reason I don’t look forward to his fights. Maybe because of how good he is and how he nullifies his opponents.

I feel the same. Usyk reminds me of Andre Ward. Grinds out lots of comfortable points wins. Looking like he is in second gear.
I think Dubois needs to hurt him early or Usyk will just keep out the way but do enough to win each round

Good comparison. Usyk is very bright with good boxing IQ. Knows how to nick rounds. Comes alive last 45 seconds of a round and makes the other fighter work at his pace. Dubois can hurt him though. He did in the first fight. His cardio was the issue last time.

Recall watching Dubois losing to Joyce, been quite a turnaround that few would have predicted at that time.
