Boiler timer problem

We have a central heating/water timer for our boiler which whenever we set it it always reverts back to an earlier setting. It's an old cream and brown Drayton Tempus seven. I've looked online and cant find an instruction book anywhere.We changed the "on" time from 6am to 5am the other day, it came on and then reverted back the next morning - we havn't done daily individual settings.

Any ideas please, before I rip it out clamp all the wires together and wait for the bang!!!!

Try changing the daily setting.
