Im heading over there (with missus and 3 kiddywinkles) for a few weeks and should be able to get a game somewhere, I know there are quite a few courses just beside the Changi Airport. Has anyone else been and what course would be the best of them to play?, etiquette etc?. I plan on hiring clubs there.

Bit of a long shot ?

A blimmin' great long shot for me.

In fact it's probably a drive, 3h and a 9I.

And on a bad day I might have to repeat it 21,995 times.

OK Steve's replied. A bit of background, mad keen golfer, spent several years working Malaysia.

I'm sure they're all very nice courses but if you want a decent one look at about £100!! 9 hole courses are cheaper.

A lot of normal singaporeans go across to Johor (Malaysia) or Batam (Indonesia) to play as it's far cheaper.

Cheers Bigman, there are a few 18 holers and a few 9 holers, no disrespect to 9 holers but I prefer to play the full courses (hate making the same mistakes on the same holes twice!). Had a look at the cost to join the clubs :D Id be needing to sell a few organs to get through the doors.
Not sure if Ill be travelling too far once I get to the apartment I have to say, swimming pool and restaurant are very handy :).
