Big Hitter round stats

Can't I just submit three level par cards?

In theory yes but in practice a club won't usually give you a scratch handicap straight away if you've never had a handicap before, because it automatically qualifies you for British Open and US Open qualifying. If you moved from another club where you were scratch then it might be different.

I recently joined a new club and was given a handicap of 4, even though my handicap at my last club was 2.9 and I think my three qualifying cards should of given me a 3, but the reason I was given 4 was I think because if I'd been given any lower it would have qualified me to compete for county or something like that, and so they are weary of just giving you those handicaps straight of the bat as you could be representing the club...

At the end of the day I think a lot of how the handicap is worked out is down to the discretion of the handicap committee, as opposed to a set in stone system.

Hi Tim,

What is the rating column, is this qualitive?

Should you Dropped Shots = Over?, or is it a coincidence that they are so similar?

You say that your putting let you down, so why don't you measure some statistics on putting?

What are the stroke indexes for your course?

Cheers

Where did you play

At my home club. You wouldn't like it.

Yet again avoiding the question - where did you play? Surely not that tough to answer

Still no response. I've tried to find something positive and admire the guy's tenacity to sticking to his guns for finding the best way to a low handicap even if I disagree with its merits but it is just so frustrating when he makes these claims, puts these scores up and won't even reveal where it was. Add in the somewhat miraculous jump in swing speed over the course of a week, tour length distance with a video that had a lot of flaws and was clearly nowhere near 120+ mph and I'm looking for the ignore button now. The guy talks the talk but lacks the walk
