Looking to restock on Whisky, Cognac and Spirits. Usually, I just pick up at the airport. But not been flying for a while, so stocks are running low. Sometimes I find my local Morrisons do good spirits deal that beat Airport prices on standard spirits e.g. the Bacardis or Smirnoffs . Airports generally better if looking for something different (recently been hooked on Remy Martin Cellar 16 Cognac).

What are peoples recommendations to buy from? I am a bit sceptic about buying alcohol from Amazon (or am I being luddite)

I simply google what I'm after and buy from the cheapest (taking into account reliability). Have used Amazon many times with no issue (whisky collector) as they are often the cheapest. Supermarket must be included when price checking. Specialist online retailers have occasionally been cheaper, but not often. Have yet to see airport prices get anywhere near online these days

The big supermarkets offer some really good deals if you are patient and keep checking.
£25 for 10 year old Talisker at Morrisons a couple of months ago [might have been wrongly priced that one]
£15 for a Grouse Bourbon cask [or Black Grouse] at Tesco.
Tried the bourbon cask for the first time the other month and it was surprisingly good.

With minimum alcohol pricing Scotland seems to have gained in cheaper secondary level pricing for better quality whisky and gin.

OOps sorry, just noted the 'e'
I have no idea about that Irish mouthwash stuff.

It's one of the massive brexit highlights according to the sun. Booze cruises are back...
Fwiw I find supermarkets good for spirits there are some comparison sites out there
