Bon Jovi at the Mc alpine was great too

I was there too. Not all that impressed tbh.

Saw Rush at the NEC (1983 Moving Pictures Tour) Top gig I ever saw.

2nd has to be Monsters of Rock at Donnington in 82. Quo headlined and were superb! (Original lineup of Rossi,Parfitt,Lancaster and Coghlan. Deaf for a week.

Saw Iron Maiden at Bradford City Hall, Piece of Mind Tour. My God it was LOUD!!!

Happy Days.

Strange that the vast majority of gigs mentioned are all rock bands. Well, not all that strange as rock music......well, it rocks doesn't it?

David Gray - Corn Exchange. Fantastic Show by class musician.

Stereophonics - Usher Hall. Seen them on 4 occasions but this was the best in a small venue. Superb and

Deacon Blue - Playhouse. Brilliant !

1. bowie @ glastonbury, 2000 (I think!)stood in the middle of about 250,000 people thinking I'll know one or two songs, spent 2 hours absolutely spellbound & 12months buying the back catalogue!

2. Stone Roses Spike island 1989 (?) crap performance & sound, but my first big gig adventure, and with a band I was obsessed with.

3. Black Grape Sheffield Octagon 1995. Just awesome energy & spirit & presence.
