Ben Nevis

Went up early summer about 10 years go, conditions at the top were awful (deep snow etc) yet there were still lots of families with kids in shorts and t shirt trying to battle the conditions near the summit. Crazy.

Been up three times and yup some crazy folks massively under prepared for changes in the weather

Love it, its a great day out.

Hope to do it with the boy in a few years, the wife might not come though!

Ive got over 15 years of hill walking experience and she still does not trust me!

Well if it is Cambridgeshire hills, I don't blame her.:o

My 65 year old wife went to the top of the Nevis range last year........those ski lifts are braw.

The thing about Ben Nevis that gets me is that is has grown since I was at school. It has always been 4406ft until I read this story earlier this week when I find that it is now 4411ft. That's just not right - a cherished factoid remembered from my schooldays just blown away - were the Scottish public consulted?

I thought it was because South Britain is sinking and North Britain is rising.

It's due to all the immigrants flooding into the south of England and making it heavier. If we're not careful we'll flip right over and end up upside down on top of France. Time to vote to leave the EU and shut the borders to stop this happening. :-)
