Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has any info on becoming a caddie? Is it just somthing you fall into or are there any courses you can do or somthing that will help you along?

Cheers

Don't know of any courses, but try and get a copy of 4 Iron in the Soul by Lawrence Donegan. He spent a year caddying and it gives a bit of an insight into the life of a caddy

Good Luck :D

My advice is to find a course nearby that allows caddies and speak to the caddy master. Most operate some form of grading where you start at the bottom and get the crap bags and lowest pay, then work up. Finally you get top ranking and the pick of the bags and best pay/tips

Alternatively write to the European Tour Caddie Association and see if they can give you any specific advice
