another lovely day down here today. Sun is shining, nice and warm. Sod the golf.
BBQ all set up, some lovely pork steaks marinating at the moment, chicken drumsticks, burgers and some superb garlic and onion sossies together with a herd of king prawns ready to meet a fiery fate.
Few packs of San Miguel chilling in the fridge, couple of bots of vino sitting on ice and all's well in my world.
The missus might even strike lucky tonight...

Probably a wise move staying off the course for a while after all the rubbish you've played recently.
Imagine not being able to beat 40 pts with a wee girl's handicap.
Oh, and thanks for the invite to the BBQ btw.
Shame I'm on my diet. ;)

Grrrr, stuck in the office. Only plus is that should be out by lunchtime with a lieu day in teh bank for some summer golf. Still recovering from Sat eve BBQ. Kicked off at 6pm....3am finish...uuurgh !
San Miguels ? Morrison are doing 3 x cases ( of the small bottles) for £18

Days like today when next door have the BBQ fired (he's a chef so really knows his marinades) that I miss knocking back a few bottles and a few glasses of plonk. Had to be content with his awseome home made burgers, some really tasty buffalo sausages from South Africa, gorgeous marinated chicken and the best salmon I've ever had on a BBQ washed down with coke. Absolutely stuffed now. HID and his missus are still out there eating away!!

Still need to buy a new barbie. Got a load of new garden furniture arriving end of the week to put on my new patio, ready for a bit of al fresco eating. Bring on the summer evenings.

nice bit of barbie entertainment yesterday - four doors down, pampas went up, fence went up and his extension went up. fire brigade had to strip the roof of his extension to check it - and the poor b was in Devon for the weekend!

truth is as yet we don't know what caused it

Had a BBQ on sunday, and on route to the BBQ stopped at a fish mongers on eastbourne beach. King prawns in the bag and a bit of shelfish later i asked teh guy behind the counter what was nice on a BBQ,

Walked out with 6 Hugh Shark Steaks for just under a £10'er and i have to say out of all the things ive eaten from a BBQ these were mega! Tastes just like pork but without the fat, nice soft and juicy. got to try them lads!

Went to a cracking BBQ years back with a lad Homer knows (Lambert) who thought it would be funny to jump into the next garden, steal their garden gnome and then cook it for about an hour before returning it looking like something out of the Black and White Minstrel show. The gnome kept smiling throughout.
