BBC's F1 coverage

Why on earth did the BBC employ Suzi Perry who knows absolutely nothing about F1 her interviews are getting increasingly embarassing umm ooo arrr umm, good grief get shot of her BBC and put somebody in place who has some knowledge about the sport,its as bad as Gary Lineker fronting The Open with his dire golf knowledge as we witnessed in the past.

If the Beeb must have a lady fronting the show then they shouldn't have looked any further than Louise Goodman... Knows the sport well and is known [and welcomed] within the sport...

Totally agree Louise Goodman is very good fronting the BTCC and is well known in F1 circles,Lee McKenzie was shortlisted to front the program so why on earth didnt she get it as she was well known in F1,she doesent seem to be on the show at all now has she left?

Suzi was on the celebrity version of The Chase & one of the questions was "what Grand Prix circuit would you find Hanger Straight...and she didn't know....I wouldn't expect her to know every circuit but you would think she'd know Silverstone

Jake Humphries owned that coverage...He'll make the new BT sports thing successful. The Beeb coverage is absolutely horrendous now. SkyF1 FTW.

The main problem with F1 coverage is they keep interrupting the interviews and chat to show 2 hours of cars coasting round in a circle not overtaking each other...... Yawn!

She seem to do Ok to me. It will take a while for her to settle in fully. her job is to link the whole thing together which she does pretty well. Jake Humphrey was no F1 expert either, neither was Georgie Thompson.

Sadly MotoGP is nearly as bad at present... With only three in with a genuine chance of a win... Rossi is past it and Crutch only has the kit to ruffle feathers in qualifying..

Yeah disappointing but at least those guys can have a race and pass each other rather than controlling their race "strategy". Marquez is shaking things up a bit, cal can challenge and Rossi is better in the Yamaha so I'm hoping after a few races he might be properly in the mix.

Sky f1 is so much better apart from Lazenby who is a bit wooden and still out of his depth. Ted Kravitz is the best, a super nerd who makes it good to watch

Just think Sky do every sport better than terrestrial stations. They have the resources and we all know BBC hasn't got sport at its heart so why continue to throw cash at F1 when the majority are watching it on other platforms and listening to better experts

I want to like Kravitz but he drops too many clangers for me... Worst example was during his post race pit lane walkabout [Italy last year] when he started taking the rise out of a gentleman with regard his choice of headwear... Failing completely and utterly to recognise the guy he was ridiculing was one of the most easily recognisable F1 drivers of all time because of his choice of headwear! Arturo Merzario... Just can't forgive him for that...

Kravitz is Brundles boy, and Ms Thompson probably turned down a unique opportunity with Brundle! Basically the women are there to get the interviews, drivers fancy them they fancy the drivers ... There is a coming together and then it's history. The German girl is known as the spit roast, she was high fived by Burger and Sheen. Another German production assistant is known for her oral skill, apparently ... The rest is up to your imagination.
