Just been to Direct Golf in Bury to get a few bits and pieces for this afternoon's round - bought a Macgregor M565 3-iron for the grand total of £4.99 whilst I was there! They've got a few of them if anyone else lives nearby

Check out your local branches of the big chains like DG and AG, some of them must have the now-defunct Macgregor gear knocking about for silly prices.

Have never had such a bargain!

odd that they have 3-irons as the standard set was 3-PW; I know 'cos I have them.
