Barca v Man U

Barca are mesmerising at times, made a decent ManU side look very average. Too one sided to be a great game but Barca are clearly a great side.
Giggs, Valencia, Hernandez, Park wer all poor, Rooney and Vidic had decent games.

I still liked the 2006 Barca as much as this one when Ronaldhino and Eto were tearing sides apart.

heres a few stats...
662 – It is commonplace for Barcelona to pass their opponents into oblivion, and that was certainly the case on Saturday night as they totalled 662 passes completed from 772 attempts. Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, by comparison, managed only 301 completions from 419 tries.

124 – Xavi was Barca’s maestro in the heart of the midfield, successfully channelling the ball to a team-mate on 124 occasions. Manchester United’s best player in this regard was Rio Ferdinand with a mere 40 – a tally bettered by eight of the champions’ starters.

now add to that Messi's sublime dribbling, great movement throughut the team and even though Arsenal beat them, Real in the copa del rey, on their day Barca are just an immense footballing side.

Fergie knew they lost to the better team and I think there was a lot of respect between him and Guardiola.

A good final played in very good spirits, even the wembley pitch looked half decent.

as an LFC fan, glad the Manc basts lost :D

Barcelona were totally different class in all departments.

The football they played was breathtaking.

How much does Messi remind you of Maradona in his prime?

Absolutely knackered. I didn't get back in until 1:00am from the game and up now for a bit of golf.

Barcelona were just immense. I knew they were good but I had not appreciated how good they are until I saw them in the flesh.

They were entirely masters of their own destiny. United only scored when Barcelona took their foot off the pedal, sat back and gave the ball away.

I cannot think of a more hated team in the country. How can you tell a man u fan in manchester? He'll have an A-Z in his hand.Love to see them lose.
Sorry to all the Scottish,Irish, London, afganni, icelandic,Russian man u fans out there.

Reports have emerged that Barca fans sneaked into Old Trafford last night and unfurled a '19 times' banner, in reference to the amount of time Man United touched the ball in the Champions League final.

Brilliant to watch and great to see Barca win. I had £20 on Barca to win 3-0 at 16-1 and so am gutted that Man U scored an offside goal!
