Bands Who Should NOT Re-Form

Any with an over 60 member - I'm getting old and the last things I want is reminding by looking a gang of wrinkled gits who need electronics to get in tune.

In fact no band that needs electronic voice synthesisers

Five Star

Ah Five Star - Britain's answer to the Jackson's, just without any of the talent.......or allegations of kiddy fiddling from the lead member!!! 😉😂😂

Think I remember a Saturday morning kids show when someone phoned in and asked them why they were so flippin crap!!! 😂😂😂😂

Sporty sang flat as. She was live on totp with Bryan Adams and was awful.

Is the correct answer. For years Bryan Adams pulled some wannabe out of the audience to sing her part in "When you're gone" and I always thought it would be nice the see Mel C instead. One night Mel C did turn up and do it and I wished she'd gone to the wrong venue; it was dreadful.

However the one time I saw Tina Turner appear to do "It's Only Love" with him was something else; she was absolutely brilliant.

Thought they broke up in the 80s they have had a few different musicians in the band since the original line up.

As you know not to my taste, but their one of the most popular and biggest selling bands in the world ever especially in the USA where they go for that type of ...mmm better not say(y)

Pretty much every band changes line up through their career, it's part of the process. As for the "break up", according to them it didn't happen and my comment is a corruption of the intro on the Hell Freezes Over album.

I know it won't happen but try listening to some of the lyrics sometime, you might then get why other people get them, even if it isn't to your taste. There's some fantastic story telling in there.

One of my other Brothers,(who's sadly no longer with us) who was really in to music in a big way and had a serious record collection - mostly prog rock etc. once said to me whilst listening to Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel, "Just listen to the lyrics". Which surprised me as it was not his type of music but taught me to listen to, "The lyrics".

I can appreciate the back catalogue they have ,for a band to be that popular and sold vast amount of records they must be able to write a good song.

I generally like singers that are not conventionally good singers hence my liking for blues music.

The Vocals and harmonies I have always disliked ,I distinctly remember years ago throwing a bowl of porridge at the radio when one of their songs came on. 😱

I’m sure some of the music I like will be considered rubbish by some, but that’s good ,we all have different tastes.

Aaah Oasis......more ego than talent. Saw them live at the Ageas Bowl, average at best.

I've seen them live 7 times and they were superb every time. Easy to have a dig at Oasis, but they were a sound of a generation and their music seems to be standing the test of time.
