Big hoohaa today about the Spice Girls doing a reunion tour. Clearly in need of a few quid. For me they were one of the worst bands of my liftetime. Dreadful music, embarrassing fake 'attitude'. They made millions, fair play but please no more.

If there was one band from the past that you could prevent from reforming then who would it be? It could be that they were awful, it could be that you don't want the memory to be spoiled.

Any band that cannot reform with the original line up. Replacing lead singers especially does not work in general.

Any band that have been apart for more than a few years. Others have kept on touring, kept up the hard work whilst anyone who has split up for decades and tries to come back is clearly looking for a pay day.

As for bands that should not reform, I would not like to see AC/DC playing again now that Brian Johnson cannot tour any more (I know the irony that he was not the original lead singer).

The velvet underground, hyper cool as no one had seen them in the UK and were a major influence on many bands. ended on a high note.

93 reformed, a load of old guys who were no longer cool, wish i didn't go and see them..

Stone Roses as well should have left well alone.

ABBA. Remember them for how they were. And if we can backdate this, Blondie. Debbie Harry should have retired years ago.
Can we get bands to disband before they were formed? If so, I'll put the Spice Girls in here please.

Reform to produce studio albums, no problem providing they still have the voices for it. Reform to tour, pretty much all of them.

Went to see Jeff Lynns ELO, as good as the original.

How do you asses a reformed band, seen the Stones, U2 and The Who over the last year, they only get together every few years and regularly perform with other bands, are they reformed or just resting?

They never broke up, they just took a 14 year vacation.

Thought they broke up in the 80s they have had a few different musicians in the band since the original line up.

As you know not to my taste, but their one of the most popular and biggest selling bands in the world ever especially in the USA where they go for that type of ...mmm better not say(y)

I thought it was common knowledge, but Sporty was the only one who could sing and the blonde one was the only one who was attractive. :D
The claim was that Sporty could sing but I've been unlucky to hear her offerings since they split, either on the radio or on Jools Holland 'Let's be smug at New Year' show and I'm with Murph on this. Not pleasant on the ear. Maybe she was the best of a bad bunch and that allowed her the title of being able to sing.

Point 2 is a personal taste thing and I am not going to put the boot in there. None float my boat but if they do for someone else then that is fine.
