They're awful things. There are some decent lagers out there by smaller breweries but they're few and far between.
Calm down mate, each to their own 👍🏻

Exactly!
Personally I only drink draught (not keg) ales but if others wish to drink lager, cider or keg it's not an issue for me.
As for amounts , well give me quality rather than quantity every time.

I had you down as a babycham type of gent![]()
Interested to know why you don't drink keg?
I'm the other way and very rarely drink cask.
For me keg ales and beers are gassy and the flavours lack depth. But each to their own.
If I want fizz I open a bottle of champagne.
Haha whereas I find that cask beers are warm, flat and completely lifeless. Works ok for some of the bigger ABV stouts but anything less than about 8% that comes out of cask is just dull for me.

i agree, 6 pints!!!! are you sure it wasn't shandy you southern softy:rofl::rofl:
If several warm the pub is not looking after its cask ales.
They should be served cool (cellar temperature) but not cold.
Cellar temperature just isn't cold enough for my liking for most styles - IPAs, sours, wits etc. I like them chilled and then the flavours develop as it warms in the glass.
Current willingly a keg imperial stout. It's 14% and you could never say it's flavourless. 😁

Probably not a session beer though...
