This plus the over the shoulder view from TW 2011 will be awesome. I may have to get this and Playstation Move as I have to have Augusta in glorious HD rather than pixelated Wii graphics!!!

Just seen this on the Metro web site. Will be released in April to coincide with the Masters.
Just as interesting though is that the image of Tiger Woods will not appear on the packaging. EA state that this is to promote the new relationship with the Masters but reeks of another company ducking out of the way whilst Tiger rebuilds his personal and golfing reputation.

I wonder if it was a rider from Augusta as they have a very strict "one transgression" and you're out and maybe don't want to be associated with Tiger at the minute.

But it will still be the "same old same old" though won't it?
You will still get the same 5 or 6 guys in the crowd who all look similar (same tee shirt, same hair style) standing up and clapping at the same time. Oh look, there are 6 guys in brown jumpers doing it too. And 5 women all in the same colour shorts and shirts with pony tails.
I've got all the TW editions going right back to 2001 either on 360, PS3 or PC. I bought each new one on the promise of new game play, new features, a "better experience"..it's taken me 9 years and I still haven't learnt

Looking forward to this, i've had most the TW games on various consoles and the one course i've always wanted to see was Augusta.

I don't know. Wentworth has recently been removed from TW Online. I don;t know why; perhaps a licensing issue (the course was out of date).

Superb. I was due to buy a new TW game soon and this is as close as I'll ever get to playing Augusta.

EA said it was removed from the online version due to licencing issues.
So they were able to go around the course with a measuring tae but at some point someone forgot to consider licensing?

Except the license issues for Wentworth presumably relate to the pre-Els re-design and so don't feature the new 18th etc.?
EA made it quite clear that it was knack all to do with TW's pink-putting and much more to do with the fact that they only want their brand associated with winners and given that ol' surly chops has both failed to win anything this year or even remain No.1 - they've only kept the TW name as it's a 'brand' otherwise it would have been ditched too. And thus they learn the lesson of not using a name for a product when they could be using PGA Tour or something that won't/is less likely to disappear soon or fudge up spectacularly...
